Hi,
I've got a 3Com 3CRWE154G72 (version 2) wireless pcmcia card. Getting it to work with Fedora Core 5 is becoming a joke. Not happy. I think my issue is that I need to be using ndiswrapper.
So I've install ndiswrapper 1.10 using yum and installed the 3Com windows driver from my original 3Com CD-ROM.
All goes well until I run modprobe where I can see that the ndiswrapper module has been loaded (in /var/log/messages) but the driver has not been added. I beleive I should see and entry in the logfile to the effect of
ndiswrapper: driver ''driver1'' added'
I can see the inf sys and conf files in /etc/ndiswrapper/3c154g72 directory and 'ndiswrapper -l' tells me that the driver is installed and the hardware is present.
Any ideas as to what I can look at to see if the driver is not suitable (I think it is) or whatever.
Many thanks,
