I can't see Windows box on my network

I have a simple network at home which all connected to a single switch. In the network has just 2 PC (1 is a FC5 while the other is a Win XP). When i open up network servers via Place -> Network Servers, i can see a Windows Network Icon, when i double clicked it it shows me nothing. But if i type in smb://<ip address>, i can access the windows box. Am i missing something? :confused:

I had the same problem, I yum installed Samaba and SambaSWAT and the problem went, do you have either of these packages installed?

Maybe this wont help you, but it certainly wont cause you any problems
