View Full Version : Help with ndiswrapper PLEASE!!!

i am new to Fedora ive used ndiswrapper in other distros (ubuntu, mandrake) but cant get it to work with Fedora Core 5, it appears to be completely installed but when i modprobe ndiswrapper it gives an error here is what it shows.

[root@localhost bcmwl5]# ndiswrapper -l
Installed drivers:
bcmwl5 driver installed, hardware present
[root@localhost bcmwl5]# modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid module format
[root@localhost bcmwl5]# uname -r
2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp

this is my card:
02:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)

does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem ???

i tried everything from that ^^^ nothing worked livna couldnt find repository and /sbin/depmod -a still returned invalid module format

why is it invalid ?????????
