Hello?
I have D-Link DWL-650+, Linksys WPC11V4,
and Trendnet TEW-441PC.
Does any of these cards work on FC3 or any
other distros?
I tried working with DWL-650+ on FC3 but
gave up on it.
Thank you.

Search the forum or Google for this. Unless someone running the exact same card runs across this thread, you may not get an answer.

I've used the TrendNET TEW 441 PCI card. I used it in FC 4 however. In order to get it to work, you will need to download and install the MadWiFi rpms from the Livna repos. Once they are installed you will need to restart your network from the Services menu. Once the network is restarted, you will need to create a new network connection. Choose a Wireless connection and look for the Atheros Communications field. From there, you enter in your network info (such as DHCP as well as WEP key) and you should be good to go. Now remember, this is for FC 4. I've never tried it on FC 3.
Hope that helps!

Hi jhetrick62 and phefner,
Thanks for your feedbacks.
I heard about ndiswrapper and will consider
that when I have time.
Now, I don't know if FC5 treats these
cards in any other ways differently from FC3
in terms of automatically detecting them.
In that case, I'll certainly consider FC5, but
then getting familiar with ndiswrapper would
just be nice as well just in case.
