Network disconnection

Today I installed FC5.
At first, everything is fine.
But, network connection is messy.

I tried to change the lan cable, lan card, router socket, and even land card slot.
Fortunately, even though I can see the connection in the connection manager panel,
after about 10 sec, network became "disconnected" state.

I'm using dell desktop.

What can be a solution for this?

whats on the other side of your system...probably a problem with your switch/hub/modem ...?

What LAN card are you using? I had a problem earlier with my Davicom Semiconductor, Inc. 21x4x DEC-Tulip compatible 10/100 when I installed FC5. I just had to replace it and that fixed the problem.
