no domain lookup but yes in vmware guest

Hello guys.

I've got a weird problem. After 'yum update'ing I started having problems with my network.
I got a new kernel installed (but I switched back to my old-self-compiled one)

Then, I found I couldn't nslookup any domain but I could ping other network machines.

The weirdest thing is that if I launch VMWARE with the guest Windoze, it works perfectly!! :eek: :eek:

In /etc/resolv.conf appears my DNS Servers, but I cannot figure what to check next...

Problem solved after I restarted the NetworkManager service.

I do not know how this can affect networking, but this is how I solved the problem.
