printing garbage over network

I have a network up and running and am trying to share a printer which is attached to one of the machines, but when I try to print to the printer from one of the other clients it oly prints garbage - like it is the wrong driver, it works fine from the machine that the printer is connected to
The correct printer drivers are installed on the clients
Anyone have any ideas
