I just loaded Fedora Core 5 on my Pavilion and am frustrated by being confined to within 10 feet of my router. My intel Pro Wireless 2200BG has driver support in Linux, but the documentation is very confusing. Has anyone else loaded this driver and could provide me with some help.
Thanks,

These drivers are available through Livna with yum install ipw2200-firmware. Once they've been installed go to "System->Administration->Server Settings->Services" and check both NetworkManager and NetworkManagerDisapcher from list of services. Give it a reboot and see what happens.
You should now be able to detect and connect to wireless networks.
