just as the title says... how do i do it?
i think i must have forgot to install something while i was installing fedora. is there something in the installation package that will allow me to have my system on a workgroup and share files with window computers?

Hello:
First you need to have Samba installed, that being said you should probably have a look here at the how-to by Firewing1 : http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=94257&highlight=SAmba

thanks, ok i have samba installed. but how do i configure it? i see the configure code and i typed it in the root, but nothing is happening.
i just want that sorta basic file sharing, like just in my network and in a network workgroup. and after i do that. how do i choose folders that i want to share?

This (http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/sambaserver.shtml) as well as the link that Seve gave you should explain Samba and its configuration.
