Hi guys, trying now for a number of days to get this Broadcom wireless working. Tried all links in this forum. Installed FC5 a number of times all over again to get rid of unwanted files installed in the various attempts.
The bottomline is that I do see my own wl network plus the neighbors when I click on the netwrork manager icon, but no way of connecting to it. At the moment my own wl network is not password protected.
Trying to activate the wl network, I get the message that the cable might be loose, well itś wireless after all.
I think it might have to do with the following msg I get in iwconfig as below :

Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 20
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 19.
Some things may be broken...

eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"your-essid" Nickname:"localhost.localdomain"

RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0

Anybody with bright ideas ? This is the only thing that keeps me from trashing XP.

Thanks
