View Full Version : Atheros (MadWifi) + NetworkManager + WPA2

I have a MacBook Core Duo and I installed Fedora Core 6 without a hitch on it, it's working great... except wireless.

I plugged into ethernet, grabbed all the updates, installed madwifi, I am running the module, iwconfig lists ath0, and that's good. I am also able to connect to open wireless networks using NetworkManager. That's even better.

However, I am unable to connect to my home network, which is an Apple Airport Express using WPA2. The connect sits there, and times out. Running NetworkManager --no-daemon reveals no true errors other than a timing out and lack of successful connect. I'm really out of ideas of where to look.

Another weird bug is that the Network control panel in Fedora lists a wireless card at wifi0 and doesn't list ath0 whatsoever... could this be part of the issue?
