Happy new year!
I have FC5 and try to access and configure my WLAN router.
The router's IP adress is 192.168.1.1
I can configure it via eth0. (with web interface)
iwconfig shows that the router is associated
ifconfig shows that the interface is up and running
-> I can ping the router via wlan0.
route -n gives
Ziel Router Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0
85.216.84.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.252.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
169.254.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo
0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0
I do not know where the 192.168.1.0 in the 1st routing line comes from.
Do I need a route with Ziel (Target) 192.168.1.1 ?
If yes: How and where to I have to add it?
Thank you for any support
Horst
