I have two OS on the network 1. Windows 2. Fedora-6. I am using Windows as my database server and many times i need to access the dbase server from Fedora. this is working just fine on Fedora-4. However using same parameters if i connect from FC6, i am getting the error message

"The folder could not be displayed.
Sorry could not display all the contents of Engg"
and it does not display anything

here are more details

windows server domain : cim-sys-engg

on the "file browser" i typed "smb://engg-server/engg" then FC6 asks for login name, domain name and password. whatever i was typing on FC4, i typed the same on FC6 also. but i got the above error message.

i checked the service and made sure that SMB service is running and also winbind service. still i could not connect to windows server.

security level : SELinux -> Disabled and Firewall is -> Enabled and allows "ftp, http, nfs4, telnet"

any solutions ?
