I get to where Fedora starts to boot up, i.e. "Probing for new devices, Starting Firewall, etc." and the whole system just locks up either when "Starting Firewall" or "Connecting to network." Any ideas? :(

are you using DHCP to manage your IP address?
Are your DNS settings correctly entered ?
Are other computers having similar problems with DHCP or resolving DNS names?

Yea, im pretty sure my DNS is configured properly. All the WinXP machines in my house run internet just fine. :S
Dunno if it matter, but my mobo is an ASRock 939-Dual SATA2

How many times have you experienced that?

does it boot properly if you do a
chkconfig iptables off
chkconfig network off
if so do that, then once your booted, try to start each service and note any errors.
also check you /var/log/messages for any relevant errors durring bootup.

Thanks for the help so far, unfortunately i'm still having problems.
I boot with the install disc, then go into rescue boot, and it takes me to a command line like this:
sh-3.1#
So i type in:
chkconfig iptables off
and i get:
error reading info on service iptables: no such file or directory
Sorry for me being such a n00b at linux :(

Once you reach the command line in rescue mode, enter this command first, then the commands listed in the other post in order. chroot /mnt/sysimage chkconfig iptables off
chkconfig network off
