Hi. This is just a general question but it seemed to fall under the networking category.
I installed F7 RC2 on my laptop over the weekend. Very nice install. It detected my wireless card and installed the firmware automatically. The only thing I had to do was turn on Network Manager so I could connect to my wireless hub.
My question is, why isn't Network Manager enabled by default? Is there some security or compatibility issues? I'd think that it would save a lot of questions people new to Linux have regarding connecting to their WPA enabled network.
Anyways, I was just curious to the reasoning behind not automatically enabling it.
