Help needed to set up network
I have a desktop funning fedora 7 kernel.i686 2.6.22.5-76.fc7 and two laptops also running fedora 7. The laptops with the Atheros card are working great and I am able to connect to other networks. I recently installed a Linksys Wireless-G WMP54G card on the desktop to network these computers. The idea is to use the desktop as storage and access to the internet through a EVDO modem.
Problem: I installed fedora using Live CD, the card was detected and was listed in the Network Configuration dialog box under Hardware. After the hard disk installation the card is no longer listed although I am still able to view all nearby networks.

This tell me that the card should be working but I am not able to connect to any network nor am I able to create an access boint on this box. when activating wlan0 from the network config. I get the following error:
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Device or resource busy.
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
All suggestions are welcome in having this card functional.
