Hi, I am runnig fedora 7 on my computer. The computer comes with Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04), which is an old wireless card and is supported in Fedora 7 by default. The wireless card is properly drived, I believe. It works fine when I brought it on campus. The campus network uses bg wireless routers with "leap".

I've encountered some problem getting it work at home. My house is using a router as follows:

model: linksys WRT54G/GS, with firmware: D-WRT v23 SP1 Final (05/16/06) std. The router is using MAC filter without any keys. My MAC address is in the allowed list. However, the network manager cannot make any connections to the router. (and i've tried wifi-radar as well, no luck...)

"iwlist eht1 scan" is able to see the wireless router(eth1 is the wireless card).

Seems I failed to set the channel and ap address.

No working leases in persistent database - sleeping.

I've no idea why it is like that. Wondering whether it is because the router firmware is not "official"? Anybody got any experience on this? Great thanks if there is any suggestion.

Problem solved. I after searching for long, no similar situation encountered. So I just reset the router to factory default. Now surfing happily with wireless
