Ping Problem

Hello,
this is rashid. i install fedora6 in a real ip and configure it as a Proxy (Transparancy) and also i configure DHCP for my LAN. in this system i have two nic card, one is for real ip(internet connection) another is for local. now i can browse any sites from any local pc under dhcp. but i cant get any responce be ping (Request time out).

Now this is the problem of my server and i have to connected in various server with putty and winscp382, but i cant. i dont know where i make mistake.

my proxy setup is ok.no error from this. alos dhcp. in proxy i block some sites like yuotube nad it is a transparency proxy.

so, the problem is i can browse but i cant ping.
and result of ping is "Request time out"

Likley your firewall is blocking ICMP traffic

Well can u pls tell me how can i enable the ICMP traffic in the firewall.
