I have a Thinkpad T42p. It has ipw3945abg.

I can see the access-point BUT cannot authenticate..... and yes I am passing the right params for the authentication.

BUT it will not authenticate........ I initially had SuSE 10 on this and it worked like a charm. This is the first time I have tried Fedora and I get nothing but grief when it comes to WiFi connectivity. Can someone be kind enough to help me sort this out.

What sucks is....... the reboot of the machine hangs at trying to get wlan0.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bringing up interface wlan0: SIOCSIFFLAGS:Operation not supported
./ifup-wireless: line 60: 1868 Segmentation fault iwconfig $DEVICE channel $CHANNEL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Basically the machine is hung at this point in it's boot process....... It sucks!

Any help to this matter will be greatly appreciated......
