I am totally new at Linux but see the greatness in its potential. I am trying to get a wireless Microsoft MN-520 PCMCIA card to work with FC8. I don't quit now how to configure it though I tried through the GUI and no such luck. I know that there are many posts about NDISwrapper and I have installed it however I'm not even slightly sure that I have the device configured properly yet.

Any help anyone can provide would be awesome and thanks again to anyone willing and able to help in advance!

Thanks for the feedback Leigh, the font looked much smaller when I was editing the posting. My bad. The scorn noob shall refrain from using enlarged fonts in future postings.

Bow to thee........

I'm not sure I know what exactly you are asking for by "chipset"?

Of the wireless notebook adapter?

802.11b

Wifi cards tend to be known by what chip they use ( not the brand name )

so post

lspci

as this should help to identify the chip

thank you for posting in normal fonts
