Ugh... Network Shares dont work.. What else...

I finally got the WLAN running, slow but running...

Come to find out Samba wasn't installed, and SMB wasn't started.. Put all that in.. I still cannot access any computers.. Before I could click Places > Network > Windows Network > and then I'd see my 4 XP/Vista systems..

Now nothing shows up.. I updated every to the latest kernel.. Bout to pull F8 and go back to F7 because it appears when one thing gets fixed, 2 more show up lol.. Anyone got any ideas?

For my set up to get things working I make sure I have the services nmb,smb and wins all running. I add wins to the line in /etc/nsswitch.conf
#hosts: db files nisplus nis dns
hosts: files wins[U] dns
Make sure that your samba is set to the correct workgroup . You must allow samb through the firwall also. I know this works see below set up
