How to (installation & Configuration) of Fedora FirewallServer

Dear all
i'm new linux user sooo...

i am trying to create a firewall for my network where i just want to
drop any connection into my server (i mean no body in my network can access to the internet except the PC's that i (spicified) allready added into my iptable)...so

internet by ADSL (192.168.5.5) ----> MyServer (192.168.7.1) --->|Switch| ---> myClients

and the application I want to Allowed to be Used in my police :
FTP
SMTP & POP3
HTTP
MSN messenger & Yahoo Messenger

and how i can make limitation for the downloads


please help me this is argent

i am using fedora 8 now if its not sutible for the firewall that i am looking for i can change it into another Linux please just give me solution.
