No WLAN detected on Compaq C702TU

Hi there! i'm a Linux convert and would like to ask you guys if you know any WLAN drivers which i could use for my laptop.. by the way i'm using compaq presario C702TU.. i already spend the whole day looking for drivers and i hope you guys could help me...

Hi buknoii, welcome to the forum

it would be helpful to know a couple of things

1, what version of fedora are you running?

2, run the following commands and postt the output about the network card you have.
$ /sbin/lspci
SNIP
02:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI
$

and

$ /sbin/lspci -n
SNIP
02:00.0 0280: 1814:0301
[mrhappy@localhost ~]$

this tells you what kind of network card and chipset you have in your machine, then someone on the forum can suggest the best way to get your machine working

a couple of useful websites for you to look at are http://fedoramobile.org/ and http://www.linuxwireless.org/
