Hi..
I am using Fedora Core 5 standard installation. I am unable to connect to any wireless network. Few days back I installed Fedora core 7 and my wireless card was working fine. I was able to connect to the access point and access the internet. I had to uninstall Fedora 7 due to some performance problems. My wireless card is Intel 2200BG. Please help.
I would also like to know if updating the kernel would help?

You will need to compile and install the ipw2200 drivers and download the firmware, what are the performance issues with F7??? Try Fedora 8, FC5 is too out of date....

Wifi with fedora 7 are fine. But it makes my laptop very slow. So i had to install Fedora 5. I hvae 256 Mb ram and 1.6 Centrino processor. Will FC8 work fine?
