NAS/nasd

I kind of understand what NAS/nasd does...

Question:

Is there a way I can set up a stream from one linux box with nasd and listen to it on another linux box?

I don't want a fancy program. I just mean when sound plays on the one it can be played on the other as well...

Network audio? How about try PulseAudio.

I know you mean to be helpful but that's doesn't help the question. I can look into pulse, but I really want to know about nasd.

Will pulse do what I asked? I am f8/kde 3.5 kind of guy...
