Hi I am a linux noob trying to get my intel 536ep modem to work in fedora core 8 kernel 2.6.23, i have tried making the driver from the uncomplied version on intels website. I have tried the instruction with the driver. make clean runs fine as far as i can see, but make 536 errors and says failed to build driver. i have included a text file of what happens when i try the install. If someone could help me or point me to help that would be great. I am really hoping to get this modem working soon under linux so i can ditch windoze. :)

If you go to
Http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/intel/Philippe.Vouters
You can get a package there to install The Intel 536ep that works just follow the instructions but don't ask for his help he got a little bent out of shape a couple of years ago trying to help some newbies. Hope that this helps you.
