Hi

I have Fedora Core 2, using a USB adapter based on an at76c503a chipset.I am using drivers from http://at76c503a.berlios.de, which seem to work fine.

My device is in the list on typing ifconfig or iwconfig. But to allow me to access the internet, my internet machine(running windows xp) needs to assign an ip address using dhcp. I can only see the connection (wlan0) in system-config-network, not the device. However, the device is listed in hwbrowser. I have tried making a ifcfg-wlan0 file and changing BOOTPROTO to dhcp, but this makes no change.

Any ideas?
