I'm fairly new to linux, and am having a problem getting fedora to recognize my network card.

Here's a brief description of my current situation, and how I got there:
Currently, hardware browser detects my network card. However, nothing is listed in the devices or hardware part of the network config.

The NIC is the on-board lan from a compaq deskpro.

Are your network cards drivers supported by fedora?

Run system-config-network and look for your card in the hardware list when you click new

Try disabling PnP in the BIOS.

Got it fixed...found out irq/io/mem and manually set them. works now.

Thanks for the replies.
