I just upgraded from RedHat 9 to Fedora Core 2. When trying to browse to a share on my windows server (NT 4) I went Computer (On the Desktop) > Network > Windows Network > [domain] > [server] I got the following error:

The folder contents could not be displayed.
You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of "Windows Network: [server]".

I read on a different thread (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18880) to go directly into nautilus and type smb://[server]/[share]. When I did that, I did get the authentication dialog and entered my information. Nothing happened (waited about ten minutes).

I know that in RedHat 9 I used to be able to get directly into this share, no problem.

If it makes any difference, I have a 3Com 3C905 Ethernet adapter, which, per the instructions on this page (http://www.fedorafaq.org/fc1/#3c905), I had to disabled kudzu in order to get it to work.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks,
~Jason
