I yummed from FC8 to kernel-2.6.25.9-76.fc9 and no more nm-applet?

I have connectivity by using eth0 - not managed by NetworkManager.

Looked around and tried NetworkManagerDispatcher - does not exist.
NetworkManager service is installed and running, but just cannot get the applet running in the gnome notification area.

When I type nm-applet, command not found.

Any advice?
Thanks.

Do you have the NetworkManager-gnome package installed? I think that is the one that provides the applet in gnome. If it is installed, restarting the NetworkManager service while in gnome should make the applet appear.

Almost exactly right. Installed NetworkManager-gnome, then rebooted (restarting NM alone did not bring it up) and now NM applet is working great. Thanks!
