I used Dangermouse's install script for fedora 9 which has installed the b43 cutter. It lights to say it's loaded and it finds my SSID for my router, but when I tap in password it circles to connect then times out. I notice that my router doesn't flash to say a wireless lan is trying to connect so wonder if incorrect driver. Mine is a Dell Vostro 1000 running a dell wlan 1390 or a broadcom derivative.
Can you advise please.
Thanks Steve

Hello srdempster
If you've updated recently there are problems with the latest kernel and wireless. Try booting from a previous kernel, Fedora always keeps one.
If it's not that please post back the output of:
/sbin/lspci
where it relates to your wireless card so that we can see exactly what we are dealing with.

I'll check later as at work 4 the moment, once that's sorted i'll get my ATI mobility card working wish me luck - lol!

I had the kernel problem too.
New install, fixed the wlan issue, allowed it to update, no longer connects to wlan.
Luckily of course, there is still the previous kernel as an option when booting. :)
