determining ip informations for eth0...failed

a fedora 9 version
+Carte Fast Ethernet PCI de base SiS 900 (eth0)
i have a problem in the network manager when i connect
so i configured it like this

and when i hit activate button he say : Determining ip informations for eth0...failed :confused:



so is there any 1 know the solution of this


i hope to see this solved because a lot of fedora users in my country don't have internet connection and some windows lovers sad that they will not change to fedora cause of this problem

It sounds like it can't contact a DHCP server. Have you tried setting it up with a static IP address? If that works, then you know the problem lies with DHCP. After making the switch to static IP, make sure your DNS server addresses are still there.
