hey,
i am using fedora 9. But i am connected to a home network (LAN). All the others are using windows. so i can not see their pcs in my network places and can't using the file sharing and transfering options.
can anyone help me???
Should i do it through SAMBA?? i don't know how to configure it...................

i installed samba. it's working fine. i got access to the lan pcs. But there is a problem. first one. the other lan users see my pc in their network, but could not access, and the second on is i can not share any file, actually in linux i don't know how to, i am not finding any suitable options.... help me

yum install swat
Then read up:

Start around CH 6 after yum completes.
