My household recently upgraded our access point to a D-Link 802.11n device. Unfortunately I don't have the exact model number handy at the moment.
Ever since the upgrade, my Fedora 9 laptop has not been able to get an IP from that access point. iwlist and NetworkManager can see it, but when I try to connect, both my logs and a tcpdump capture of the network traffic show DHCPDISCOVERs going out, but no dhcp responses. The really strange thing is that the router's logs show it seeing my mac addr and assigning me an address, but either it's never sending the packets or I'm somehow not seeing them. I've seen OSX and Win machines connect just fine.
Has anyone seen something like this before?
Possibly relevant information:
Wireless driver: iwl3945
NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.9.4.svn3675.fc9.i386
kernel-2.6.25.9-76.fc9.i686
SELinux is off (just to be sure)
iptables is down (ditto)
WPA is on, but authentication seems to succeed.
Suggestions appreciated.
