Laptop A runs Fedora Core 6.
Laptop B runs Fedora 9 now.
Desktop box runs Windows 2000.
issue -
I can login and see all my files that are on the Windows box with laptop A.
Laptop B used to have Fedora 8 and worked the same way as laptop A regarding Windows box.
Laptop B got a fresh install of Fedora 9, and I have a samba share folder that Windows box
can access on Laptop B, but every time I go to Laptop B and search network, I see the windows box, and I double click it, and it waits, and goes to an open empty pane. I have at least 2 drives on my Windows box, and 2 windows shares I should be able to see. It would be nice to log in through Laptop B and be able to access all of my files, like Laptop A does now with Fedora Core 6.
And as an after thought, which version of fedora would run best on Laptop A - 366 Mhz 160 MB RAM?
Thanks for any help / interest in this.
