I don't have the internet right now, and i'm travelling on the road now days, so i cannot get the traditional home based internet, so the only option is to get Mobile Broadband from At&t or Verizon, Sprint, etc.

I was wanting to know if anyone else in this forum currently has this, and if so, does your usb device work with Fedora? I cannot use pcmcia because i have a desktop, so usb is my only option. I would really hate to pay the 400-750$ security deposit just to find that my os cannot configure the device...

Thanx

I have not had a chance to tinker with Fedora much yet, as I have just installed it. However, I have been using Ubuntu, and I have setup a USB modem using Alltel's service. I simply used the kppp internet dialer, although any dialer should work. Let me know if you want to know the specifics.
