Problems with SAMBA with freshly installed FC2

I can't add users using system-config-samba. I get a variety errors regarding the use of smbpasswd in the console when I start the program remotely on my server (help message appearing and stating that the options introduced were wrong), anyone else noticed this?

Please re-read my post, I'm using system-config-samba AKA the administrative tool from FC that supposedly takes care of this. I am using SWAT to do the configuration, since I had to have this running.

My point in the previous post (sorry if that wasn't clear) is that this package is broken at least in my two Fedora Core 2 sytems and the odd thing is that one is a fresh install, no upgrade, no nothing, and the program (python script using the GTK+ python bindings) is not doing what it is supposed to be doing, in a sense, this is a bug. Before reporting this on bugzilla, I wanted to gather more inofrmation and see and learn if anybody else is having this problem.
