I got it working for a while, but now, whenever i plug a USB DiskOnKey, I can't see the new device in computer:///.
i don't think the problem is with HAL/DBUS, because i can see the device in 'hal-device-manager' and also there's a new entry in /etc/fstab of /dev/sda1.
gnome-volume-manager and gam_server (Gamin - the replacement of FAM) are also running, but still no change.
I think the problem is in gam_server because it's responsible of notifying changes.
Does anyone else experienced this problem? it there's a solution?

I'm using latest rawhide updated using Yum.

Maybe if you add a line to your /etc/fstab such as the one provide here: http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?p=109352 . You will probably be able to fix your problem.

there's an entry of /dev/sda1, but i can't see it in computer:/// (only after restart).
I want to use hal/d-bus/gnome-volume-manager intergration of hotplugging removable devices.
ofcourse i can manually mount it using fstab, but the whole idea in 2.8 is the above.

I have not been able to figure out how to get it to work automatically. Redhat has bundled a crippled version of Hotplug with Fedora. I really don't understand why. In SUSE Professional 9.1, it works as it is supposed to.
