I spent a long time desperatly trying to figure out what was going on with getting this card to work - and as a newbie life is harder still! :)

It seems though that the new version of the ndiswrapper and the drivers from http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R76521na.EXE [ONLY FOR WPC54G!!!! Check the list for your version] and a nice, simple walkthrough have at least partially solved the problem.

I only put this down because so many other people seem totally lost and you can never really have enough help

Thanks for your help. Problem is, I am even newer than newbie. I need the simple walkthrough, a very simple walkthrough, that shows where should "extract" ndiwrapper to (I can download it but don't know where to put it after that), then how to do all the config stuff.

Better yet would be just a card that can be read by Fedora without the ndiswrapper thing; I don't think God means for my Euclidean brain to understand.

But if you can walk me through -- the stuff on the ndiswrapper install page is puire greek to me -- I would appreciate greatly.
