Linux Necessities: What are yours?

I just was interested in hearing what everyone feels are their must have programs for linux...im always on the lookout for something new to try.

My must have progs:

Apollon (openFT,gnutella and fasttrack/kazaa file sharing program)

Firefox and Thunderbird (internet browser and email program)

Firestarter (firewall)

Winex (cause I need to play my games)

Superkaramba and themes (they look cool)

Rhythmbox (music is good)

I know there is more....
damn memory...

I at first used gkrellm but i didnt like the look now i use a superkaramba theme called cynapsus...you can get cool themes from kde-look.org and it shows all the system info and also if you want a nice weather theme there is liquid weather which is also a superkaramba theme...works great...

3 : rhythmbox, gaim with some conversation
4 : evolution and tsclient for Lotus Note on Windows
5 : liferea with many RSS! and epiphany for news and forums surf, xchat and pan
6 : OpenOffice Writer and Calc

On all desktop : gdesklets-GoodWeather and starterbar

Ah, and I forget, GNOME!

Seriously, people always look at me and say "Hey, what do you do with all this crap". But Ii guess I know where I place my stuff because I never hit the wrong tab to do something (same in epiphany).

And it's mostly for my job. I need to do many things on many server. And I'm just a lazy ass, I leave everything open just in case I need to reenter!
