Can't connect with KMUD

I'm trying to connect to a couple of MUDS, but it keeps on giving me an Unknown Host error. I know the MUDs themselves are working, I beleive it is a problem on my end. Perhaps there is some feature preventing my to connect?

It seems that I actually can't connect to outside IP addresses. I tried connecting to my Librarys book resource and It wouldn't connect. Not quite sure what to do. :confused:

So you can't access the web? Sounds like an internet connection issue. How do you connect?
