I am new to Linux and I have setup the bare Fedora Core 3 with no GUI. I have just attempted to setup FTP by running (YUM vsftpd) and then (service vsftpd restart). I then try to access the FTP site with my Windows XP machine useing Mozilla Firefox and I recieve the error ( Alert 425 Failed to establish connection). Then I tried useing IE to access the site and I got the message. (The server name or address could not be resolved)
