Hello all!

I've seen a lot of great guides for sharing internet between multiple Linux machines, but I have seen none for internet sharing between Windows and Linux.

I'm trying to connect to the internet on my linux machine by connecting to my Windows machine, which is connected to the internet.I have installed Bluez, iptables, the FC3 bluetooth manager and the works, but I am unable to get my Linux machine to interact with my windows box.

Part of the problem right nows is that when I go to start the bluetooth services it says "Error line 16", but when I check everything is running.

Does anyone know how to share internet between a Windows and Linux machine? Any help would be appreciated!

Can you ping the XP machine? If not you need to add the XP as Gateway to your configuration and the default route should also point to your XP machine. The Prof. version of XP needs to be set to accept "Sharing the internet connecton". I don't know if the Home version has this feature.

As I do not own a M$ product (yes there are people who grew up with *nix) I can't give you further hints. I just did that a year ago at some machine somewhere.
