Cannot Telnet or FTP !!!!!

I'm running WinXP and I installed the FC3 into a Vmware Workstation. I can ping between them but i cannot telnet or ftp the fc3 from the windows. Any suggestions ?

This is only a suggestion as I have yet to use VMware.

Try Clicking (In Fedora this is) Applications, System Settings, Security Level.

You will be asked for the root password, enter it and you should see a window - Security Level Configuration

go down to the bottom where it says trusted devices and make sure the network device is ticked, click OK and try again.

I am making this suggestion because a standard FC install would refuse connections unless you trust the network device...

Neither the telnet nor the ftp servers are installed when you select a desktop installation. Use ssh and scp instead. For Windows, go here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
