ADSL difficulties

I installed Fedora Core 3 with almost all packages and Pentium III seems to got much more power and speed (Before instead was installed NT4 Server). Laptop is also fine and don't shame any OS and I like outview.

Anyhow my DSL is using PPPoE protocoll (via 4 port ADSL modem router) and at first it did work fine. After autoupdates from Red Hat Network to Kernel-2.6.10 - 1.770_FC3 net finished working and I don't find any solution for that. I am quite newbie with linux and don't know what to do.

Distroes which I downloaded includes five CD:s. CD 5 is some repair disk - do I use that to get original situation when ADSL were functioning correctly?

Error which is generating when i am trying activate is as follows

/sbin/adsl-start:line 215: 10966 Terminated $CONNECT "$@">/dev/null 2>&1

might be simply solution for it? Windows XP is working through box normally.

How I can edit/give command via command line?

There was actually wrong information from ISP. And works fine after correct information for user account...

am having the same problems too. i get the exact error message . my ISP is Tiscali. what information ws given wrong to you by your ISP. Please give a detail info on how you got it resolved . eg wrong user name or wrong password or wrong ip address .
