:) Good day FEDORA,
Perhaps this is my first time asking question in this site. Hope it helps.
My question is on how to be able my fedora 3 workstation authenticate to my NT domain PDC?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

when your installing fedora, i think there is an option on wheather you want to add a user, or connect it to a domain.

ieuuk,
thanks for the advice.
but i've installed my fedora box more than 10x already looking for feature you mentioned, but i think it's not included in that part. if i'm correct, this problem comes up with samba config.

any detailed help. pls.

ah ha... in webmin, when you goto servers > samba... there is an option down the bottom that says bind to domain:

Bind to Domain

This form can be used to bind your Samba server to a Windows domain, typically managed by a different server

Or you could just edit the smb.conf file manually. It is under /etc/samba. Look for the line which begins with DOMAIN =

Or look around (google) for "swat for samba". It will give you a nice web front end to the samba config.
