Hi, I just bought this Zyxel Zyair G-100 WLAN Cardbus card, and faced a problem when I was trying to get it work with FC3. The card is identified correctly and the prism54 driver loaded automatically. I used the graphical system-config-network utility to set up the connection. It didn't work. dmesg output:
prism54: request_firmware() failed for 'isl3890'
eth1: could not upload firmware ('isl3890')
eth1: islpci_reset: failure
/sbin/ifup eth1 reports:
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Input/output error.
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory
And I don't know what the problem is. It should just work, or at least many people say it should. What am I doing terribly wrong? If there's anyone who has solved this problem, please tell me how you did it :)
