I'm relatively new to the Linux world, but I have everything up and running in FC3. I'm dual booting between FC3 and XP. Running the speed test on cnet.com under Windows XP gives me results between 3600 and 4000 kbps. However, running the same test under FC3 only gives me results between 2600 and 3000 kpbs. My question is why the difference? I have disabled ipv6 and played around with different DNS settings, all to no avail. I have an MSI K8T NEO-FSR which has the Realtek integrated gigabit NIC connected to my router. FC3 is configured for DHCP. I know I shouldn't complain as those speeds are still coolio, but it's one of those things that just bugs me :) Thanks.
