My network consists of 5 public IPs which contain my web server and mail gateway, etc. It also has a router attached which is doing NAT to my internal network of private IPs containing my workstations and interal only servers.
I would like to get some suggestions on how to properly set up name servers for both internal and external usage (ie. should I set up a seperate name server for external and for internal or can I set up one nameserver and configure like xxx.domain.com for external and xxx.internal.domain.com for internal). A pointer to a good HOWTO that covers this topic would be great... so far I have only found HOWTOs that cover basic DNS setup and assume you have all internal or all public IPs.
