I've recently installed fedora on my laptop, which has a SiS 630 graphics card, and have noticed that some of the 3D stuff is a bit corrupted, for example when running glxgears you can see some gears through others, and when using tuxracer the penguin appears to be lots of floating triangles making the shape of a penguin, but kinda see-through in parts... I've updated my driver as indicated on http://www.winischhofer.net/linuxsisvga.shtml, but it doesn't seem to make much difference... has anyone else had any similar problems, or know how to fix it?
I had RH8 before this and 3D wasn't fast, but it looked coherent at least! ;)

My desktop machine has a 730 and I have exactly the same situation.
I used the same instructions to enable 3D. Any advice would be appreciated.

:( I guess it is just you and me...
For what its worth an lsmod of my current machine shows that both sis and sisfb are running. And, sisfb is listed as a sub-process of sis. Since sis is the driver and sisfb is the frame buffer, we can assume that we have it set up correctly. Unfortunately, we can also assume that SiS's sucky 3D accellerator design hardly makes any difference.
Feel free to contact me via IM. And, if you and I can come up with any solutions, we can post them here.
